Can you help.....we have an IPE deck that is 6 or so yrs. old....left to weather naturally...loved it except for the past 2 yrs it is covered in black mottled spots that are on the entire 2 level deck. We have also tried a washing, and also used bleach thinking it would remove mold, if that was the problem.
Thought IPE was impervious to mold, mildew, etc.
Can you help.....someone suggested an entire sanding...wouldnt power washing work as well as sanding?
